Supergirl is an iconic figure in the DC Universe, having been introduced during the Silver Age as the younger cousin of Superman. Her death during the Crisis on Infinite Earths heralded the end of the Multiverse and the retroactive erasure of all her history, but subsequent characters would be introduced to carry on the name. After a series of women with connections to but no familial relationship with the Last Son of Krypton, a blond female cousin of the modern Superman was re-introduced in 2004. The Image is of Supergirl as seen in most modern DC Comics. |
