History:

Opto309V is a Green Lantern assigned to the same space sector as the planetary Green Lantern Mogo. Nearly a year after the "Infinite Crisis" event, Opto309V witnessed a space vessel carrying Adam Strange and Starfire crash land in one of Mogo's lakes. Opto contacted Green Lantern (John Stewart) and helped him bring Adam Strange back to Rann. ^[1]

During the "Final Crisis" event, Opto accompanied John to Earth to help him investigate the murder of the New God Orion. They found a piece of evidence which appeared to have been buried in the earth for more than fifty years. ^[2]

Following the viral spread of the Anti-Life Equation across the planet, Opto309V appears to have fallen victim to Darkseid's Elite. His final fate remains unknown. ^[3]
