History
Heinrich Melch was a soldier in Nazi Germany whose father was charged with developing a plan to stop the Superman native to their Earth.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
Heinrich Melch possessed several superhuman abilities due to his father's scientific experimentations that allowed his body to process Kryptonite as an offensive power source. In a manner similar to the Earth-Three Ultraman Atoman possessed similar powers to Superman such as superhuman strength and endurance and limited energy projection that were based on his body's limited processing and conversion Kryptonite processing, though at far lower levels. After his decades long coma his accumulated power levels increased to be able to match the Earth-One Superman and attained independent flight as well.
Abilities
Originally Heinrich' krytonite powers were limtied to superhuman strength and endurance and limited energy projection. As a result of his decades long coma, Melch's powers increased to be a complete match to the Earth-One Superman where Melch possessed independent flight and the ability to move between dimension, though on a subconcious level. When he was returned to his native Earth-Two dimension, his power levels decreased back to his original levels where he was comparible to the Earth-Two Superman's power levels and abilities and lost the ability to fly.
Strength level
Heinrich Melch possessed superhuman strength that was roughly compariable to the Earth-Two Superman after being modified to use krytonite as a power source though less than the Earth-Two Superman's peak. But his strength level was vastly increased due to his decades long charging coma, where Melch increased to the level to be able to specifically overwhelm the Earth-One Superman in direct hand-to-hand combat.
Weaknesses
Heinrich Melch was converted into a living kryptonite possessing battery that could use that energy for vast powers and effects but he had to rest inbetween usage to charge up to his peak levels in direct comparison to the Earth-Two Superman whose own bio-energies needed rest in order to continue using his powers. Without regular rest periods inbetween usage, Melch's kryptonite powers would decrease to extreme low levels, almost completely disappearing.
Unfortunately due to some unknown limitation in his native Earth-Two atmosphere, Melch's powers levels were also prevented from increasing to the levels he attained in the Earth-One dimension where he was able to overwhelm the Earth-One Superman as well as attained the ability to fly.
Paraphernalia
Equipment: None, as Atoman's body itself was converted to be able to directly store, possess and use kryptonite as a power source.
Transportation: In the Earth-One dimension Melch was able to directly fly. In his source dimension of Earth-Two, Melch used no known exotic transportion devices.
Weapons: None, as Atoman's body could project krytonite energy directly as offensive bursts. But doing so would drain Melch's energy reserves. Thus he would do use such energy attacks in very limited amounts for fear of power depletion before he could recover while in battle.
