History

Crossart was born and lived in a parallel dimensional reality commonly referred to as Earth-Two. When the Multiverse collapsed upon itself during the Crisis on Infinite Earths event, Crossart's existence was rendered apocryphal. His modern day counterpart is Roger Goldman.

Donning a leisure suit and a black, hooded mask, Crossart began his criminal career as the man known as the Tarantula. He broke into the mansion of wealthy socialite Vivian Dale and took her captive. Meanwhile Wesley Dodds, the mystery man known as the Sandman discovered the crime and tracked the Tarantula back to his lair. He rescued Vivian and placed Crossart behind bars.
