History

Located in Metropolis, the Athenian Women's Shelter is a privately owned non-profit organization owned and operated by the Greek Goddess Athena. The inside of the building is patterened in the style of ancient Greek architecture, and functions more as an exclusive resort than an actual shelter. The women who reside at the shelter are hand-picked by Athena herself and include retired super-villain Harleen Quinzel, as well as the surrogate Catwoman, Holly Robinson. The shelter was shut down after it was revealed that Athena was actually Granny Goodness in disguise.
