The exact origin of the Earth 9 Lori Lemaris' origin and her above human abilities has not been specifically revealed at present. However it is known that she is the first female Joker of this reality, unlike the true Tangent reality where Lemaris was the successor to at least one previous female Joker (Madame Xanadu) before Lemaris adapted the identity.

History

In the dimensional reality known as Earth-9, former independent crime fighter Lori Lemaris has tried to advance past her former costumed crime fighter career which has cost her ten years in prison. She is shown trying to rebuild her personal life after the Superman locale to that Earth has enforced one control and permits no independent costumed heroes, which has cost her ten years in prison for vigilante actions.

When the Flash of New Earth arrives on Earth-9, Lori Lemaris is inspired to join with several of the other remaining heroes of Earth-9 to overthrow the enforced peace of the Earth-9 Superman. She readopts her former costume identity as the Joker and is currently shown working with the Batman of New Earth despite Batman's own reluctance on Lemaris' choice of costume identity.

Unknown; it is suggested that Lemaris possesses far beyond peak human strength and agility asseh was able to successfully dodge handheld gunfire.

Appears to have superhuman strength. The exact limit of her strength level and endurance is not known.

Weaknesses

Lia has many of the normal weaknesses of most human females (will fail from oxygen deprevation, lack of food and sleep, etc.) though has obviously higher than average tolerances

Equipment: Lemaris' costume is designed to resist high impact forces. It's exact construction is not specified at this time

Notes

Lori shares at least a superficial similarity to the Lori Lemaris of the former Tangent reality. It is presently unknown how similar or different Lori Lemaris of Earth-9's particular background is in specific comparison to that of Lori Lemaris of the Tangent reality, other than

• Lori Lemaris of Earth-9 has been publically revealed to have been the Joker and arrested and convicted for her vigilante actions;
• Lemaris was Joker more than ten years in the past; and
• Lemaris of Earth-9 as the first female Earth-9 Joker and did NOT share the role with others as in the original Tangent universe where multiple people shared the role, though others have adopted the same role AFTER Lemaris such as Mary Marvel of the Earth-9 reality
