Joseph Shuster (July 10th, 1914 - July 30th 1992) was a Canadian comic strip artist for National Periodcial Publications (later known as DC Comics). Along with his lifelong friend, Jerry Siegel, Joe co-created what is arguably the most famous pop-culture icon of all time - Superman.
